Renovation project
Follow the historical legacy of St Patrick’s as a new phase of its history unfolds.
After successfully restoring the Church’s roof, we have now begun Phase II of making the Church beautiful again.
With the aim of sympathetically restoring the Church to highlight some if its original aspects, a decoration and floor covering scheme have been introduced that will create a beautiful space for the Church’s liturgy. A new lighting and heating system is also being introduced to make it a warm and inviting space for worship and prayer.
Stay in touch as the work progresses towards a re-opening celebration later this year.
Be part of the legacy of St Patrick’s Mission.
A Light for the City!
Through the generous support of volunteers and donors the physical complex of St Patrick’s Mission is in the process of being restored and renewed. In 2017 the restoration of the convent and presbytery buildings was completed.
In December 2017 roof work began on the church. The church is the heart of the Mission. Therefore, it is the focus of the next phase in development. You can follow the progress of its renovation here. If you would like to support the renovation of the church financially, please visit our development page or contact the Mission at stpatmission@gmail.com
